Returns and Refunds
I take great pride in delivering quality pieces of art to brighten your life and home. But I know the reality is, sometimes not everything works out the way we plan. If you receive your painting from me and you need to return it for whatever reason, you may do so.
Please read through my return policy in its entirety before processing any returns.
The return must be processed within three (3) weeks of receiving the artwork.
Contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org in order to initiate the return process.
The return will ONLY be accepted and refunds issued if the painting was not damaged in any way while in your possession.
*** If the painting arrives to your home already damaged, IMMEDIATELY photograph the damages on the painting including any damages on the packaging and contact me with the photos.***
You will be required to photograph the painting and the packaging from several angles before re-packing the painting for shipment. You will need to provide these images in an email as insurance to show that the painting left your home in good condition.
Note - the return will not be processed until photos are provided. If the painting is shipped without the photos and the painting has any damages, no refund will be issued.
As long as I receive images showing the condition of the painting before you ship it, you will not be held responsible for any damages that occur to the painting during the return shipment.
You will be responsible for re-packing the painting sufficiently to protect it from damage during the shipping process.
You will be expected to cover any necessary shipping expenses.
Once I have received the painting, I will inspect it and will contact you to let you know I have received it.
After the painting has been returned, I will begin the refund process.
Your refund will include the cost of the painting (minus the non-refundable 33% deposit if the painting was a commission) and the sales tax. (any return shipping costs will not be covered in the refund).
If you are returning the painting because it was damaged in transit, you can opt to receive a refund or I can recreate the painting for you again and your payment will apply to the new painting. You will be responsible for shipping costs.
